Mostly testing the cross posting of this out.

Really hate that a lot of translated otome game don’t let you use the Japanese keyboard for Switch. Mostly because they change the font for no reason and make the otome game look garbage as low budget. Other times they don’t change the font so there’s no reason to lock it out. (I can tell this by uh.. emulation and changing the name value to マヴリンシア and seeing what gets rendered.

Though I also hate it when you can’t do that for other Japanese games. SMTV for example changes all the fonts so that’s rendered as just ???? or ****. Really annoying as the Japanese fonts will have the Latin letters in them.
(Someone is probably gonna complain that it doesn’t have all the weird European ones and..maybe just add those instead of replacing the whole font to something that doesn’t even look like the original one that was used.)
