Try Our Custom Blocks

Now that we've shown you some of the blocks available in the Block Marketplace and how to create custom blocks, we've been busy creating a couple custom blocks of our own. Today, we want to share them with you and get any feedback you may have about them. Feel free to reach out to us on BlueSky to let us know if you think anything needs to be added or changed.
Block 1: CURRENTS
We already introduced you to this block although we've made a couple small changes and honestly think there's still ways for it to be improved upon.
Our concept for this block is for those of you who are using mochott as an online diary. You're able to track things about your day-to-day including mood, weather, current books or games and your goals.
Here's the block in action with the default text, which you can change:
Block 2: LINKS
We wanted a way to include our links elsewhere in every post without having to create the whole thing every single time. While this block doesn't entirely eliminate the issue because you still have to enter your links, it does make it a little easier.
We're not entirely sure if we like the design of this. If it was just for us, we'd probably use hearts or more color or something but we wanted to make it as simple as possible and not get too hung up in the design of it all.

Block 3: iCALLOUT
While there is the Callout block available and the Information Card custom block, we felt confined by the icons and/or the unchangeable title. It wasn't a big deal but just one of those things.
This block is nowhere near perfect. It's been years since we dabbled in CSS and I'm not entirely happy with it all. That being said, no you can choose your block background color, you can pick from a variety of icons and you can write your own title.
As we said at the beginning of this post, feel free to reach out to us on BlueSky with any feedback you have or if there's a block you'd like to see created. It's definitely a feature of mochott that we are enjoying!
So now we're curious to know, which blocks are you using on your mochott? Can you see yourself using any of the above blocks?
