So, we've gone over The Basics of writing a post with formatting on mochott and we've experimented with the concept of Custom Blocks. But now, it's time to delve into some of the more interesting features of mochott - specifically Minisites and Series.
If you're anything like us, you like to be hyper-organized on the web, especially when it comes to your own content creation. So far, it looks like mochott gives you that option! This series, More from mochott, will almost act like a tutorial or walkthrough of the main features you'll probably use here: Posts, Minisites and Series.
So let us tell you a little bit about them.
Posts
The main thing you'll be doing on mochott, we assume, is posting articles. We've seen them referred to as both “posts” and “articles” by mochott, so we'll use those terms interchangeably.
The mochott documentation on posts is very useful for a general rundown and we will be going into more details in the next article in this series.

Minisites
According to the mochott documentation on minisites, they are a feature which allows “you to organize and publish articles by theme”. Some examples could include:
Diary
Travelogue
Recipes
Photoblog
While you could just technically write these as posts on a singular blog and use tags, minisites allow you to have a site within a site - perfect for those of us who like to keep things a little more separated but still connected. We're talking hyper-organized here!
The other interesting thing about minisites is that you choose from 3 different design types which will change how your posts are displayed: blog, document or portfolio. Plus, you can change each minisites colors!
We'll go into even more details about minisites in the next few articles in this series and you'll get to come along with us as we create a brand new minisite!

Series
There is currently no official documentation from mochott on this feature and based on our previous visits to the site, it is a new and promising feature!
Imagine you're writing a book on mochott. So, you create a series and each post in the series is a chapter of your book. Folks can visit the series, with it's beautiful description and read chapter to chapter.
We can think of many more ways to use series and we'll show you the ins and outs in future posts - in this More from mochott series!
Check out how series can work by exploring one of ours, The Basics.
So, you have a variety of options when it comes to posting on mochott. You can have a singular blog that you just post to, you can group related posts into series or you can create minisites to hyper-organize different types of posts. Which one will you try first?
