Testing The Basics

This is a test of the most basic features of mochott. I'm currently writing in the default editor from my phone.

I've created a minisite, called Test Site, that will house all my mochott tests - from the basics to building with blocks and more. I'm also going to create series within that minisite that will group related tests together.

I started in the star shape editor. It says that you can type “/” to activate commands, although trying this on my phone accomplished nothing. So I switched to the second editor type which brought up a formatting menu and “+” sign on the side of my writing interface that gave me more options. The third editor type is markdown, which I won't be using much.

One of my biggest pet peeves about mochott so far, total white girl problems, is that I have to constantly be manually translating the site. It seems the majority of users are writing in a different language, some of the official information is in a different language and while I'm all for that, it's just an extra step I've gotta take at almost every action on the site. I'm not used to translating pages and often forget the option exists, so it's just one of those things that make me want to click away.

In our next test, we'll explore all of the formatting options available to us. Let's see how it goes!
