This is an unofficial English translation, with a few adjustments to better serve English-speaking readers.

We designed Mochott to let you easily follow and subscribe to your favorite authors. Once you follow them, you will be notified whenever they publish new articles.

Following an author

To follow an author on Mochott, simply open their profile page and click the "Follow" button.

Reading articles on the feed page

The articles from the authors you follow are displayed on your personal "Feed" page.

To help you organize your reading, we provided the following filters on your feed page:

  • All: displays both mochott and Standard.site-compliant articles together.
  • mochott: shows only the articles from the authors you follow on Mochott.
  • standard.site: lists only the articles from the authors you follow with a Standard.site-compatible articles.

Notifications

You will receive a notification when an author you follow publishes a new article.

You can view your updates and adjust your notification preferences on the "Notifications" pop-up. Kindly click the bell icon at the top-right area of the Mochott website to open it.

We also made sure that you can view your notifications and settings conveniently from your dashboard page (mochott.site/dashboard/notifications).

For your convenience, we enabled the following notifications by default, though you can freely toggle them off at any time:

  • New Articles
  • Likes
  • New Followers
  • Comments

Managing your follows and followers

We also provided a dedicated "Subscriptions" page (mochott.site/dashboard/subscriptions) where you can view and manage the list of accounts you follow, as well as view your own followers.
