We are proud to share that Mochott is fully Standard.site. This means that the articles you write on our platform can be discovered, displayed, and read seamlessly on other Standard.site-compatible applications, such as Standard Reader.

Think of syndication feeds like the "Atom" web standard or the old "RSS" specification. Through those systems, you can subscribe to a website and read its updates on other platforms. Standard.site works in a very similar way. It provides a universal way to store your content in your ATmosphere account so that other applications that supports Standard.site can read it. We designed this integration to give you, our dear authors, direct access to the wider ATmosphere network and community.

Mochott supports Standard.site

All mochott articles are automatically published in Standard.site format. There are no settings required. You do not need to change anything in your workflow, just write your new article and publish! Your articles are automatically compatible with Standard.site.

The AT Protocol & Standard.site

Think of Standard.site as a standardized set of guidelines for long-form publishing (commonly known as blogging) built on top of the AT Protocol.

• AT Protocol: This serves as the underlying technology for data exchange. Please note that Bluesky also utilizes this exact same technology.
• Standard.site: This is a common format defined on top of the AT Protocol that specifies how blog articles should be recorded and read.

Mochott supports both technologies.

Your data belongs to Yyou

Through the AT Protocol, the articles you write are safely stored inside your personal data server or account provider (technically called PDS or Personal Data Server/Storage). We want to emphasize that Mochott is just one of the services that writes and displays your data.

Even if you choose to stop using Mochott, your data will remain in your own account. If you decide to switch to another ATmosphere service, you can carry your posts over as they are. Please note, however, that this still depends on whether the other service reads from the AT Protocol directly or requires that you import tool your data to their platform first.

Reading articles from Standard.site platforms

If you select standard.site from the top-left menu (mochott.site/standard-site), you can view interesting articles published from Standard.site-compliant services outside of Mochott.

Furthermore, if you prefer to view only the Standard.site articles written by the authors you follow, you may conveniently do so by visiting your "Feed" page and selecting the standard.site tab (mochott.site/feed?filter=network).
