This is an unofficial English translation, with a few adjustments to better serve English-speaking readers.

To begin your writing journey at Mochott, you will need an ATmosphere account. If you already have an existing ATmosphere account, like Bluesky (username.bsky.social), you can log in straight away. Otherwise, we welcome you to sign up for a new account through any of the ATmosphere account providers available below.

Create a new ATmosphere account

There are many ATmosphere account providers available today. These providers carefully host and safeguard all the AT Proto data stored on your account, including your new Mochott blogs, articles, and author profile.

We want to help you choose the best home for your content. Thus, we listed below some of the reliable and popular account providers (as of the time of this writing):

  • TOKIMEKI (username.tokimeki.social): see instructions below
  • Booksky (username.booksky.app)
  • Eurosky (username.eurosky.social): hosted within the EU
  • Selfhosted (username.selfhosted.social): hosted in the USA
  • Sprk (username.sprk.so)
  • Teal (username.teal.town)
  • Tophhie (username.tophhie.social): hosted in the UK
  • Bluesky (username.bsky.social): flagship; hosted in the USA

Tokimeki.social

Tokimeki.social is a Mochott sister project. It is one of the many trusted ATmosphere account providers you can choose from today. An account created on tokimeki.social can be used on any services connected to the ATmosphere network such as the social media client TOKIMEKI and the blog reader Standard Reader.

If you would like us to host your account data through tokimeki.social, all you have to do is create an account with us by following these simple steps:

  1. Kindly open the Mochott website
  2. Please click the "Login" button
  3. At the bottom of the login screen, kindly click the "Sign up" link after "Don't have an account?" A screenshot of the Mochott login pop-up.
  4. On the new pop-up window, kindly click the "Create account on tokimeki.social" button A screenshot of the Mochott new account pop-up.
  5. You will be taken to the tokimeki.social registration page, please fill out the following fields: A screenshot of the tokimeki.social account registration page.
    • Username: this will become part of your handle (username.tokimeki.social)
    • Email address: a verification email will be sent to this address
    • Password
    • Invitation code: an invitation code is currently required to create a new account
  6. After registration, you will be taken back to Mochott.

You are now ready to log in, write, and publish your works through Mochott!

Login with an existing ATmosphere account

If you already have an ATmosphere account, there is absolutely no need to create a new one, just log in straight away on Mochott!

  1. Kindly click the "Login" button located at the top-right corner of the website
  2. Please fill in your handle (username.bsky.social; your-domain.pink)
  3. Click the "Login" button and you will be srfely redirected to your account provider's secure page to authorize your sign-in
  4. After a successful authentication, your account provides should redirect you back to Mochott and log you in.
